From the offset, one can see this is a top-tier budget and production commitment. Set in **1932  in Gyeongseong (Seoul), Korea.** We follow **Lee Ga-gyeong** , a skilled pickpocket who gets caught up in a web of undercurrent resistance fighting, high-stakes **espionage,** and **assassination plots**. Don't worry about the subtitles; after a short **time you will be drawn in and only care about what happens next, and you will lose yourself in the drama**. I love the costume design, acting, and the whole atmosphere where you feel like you're there with them in 1932.

Watched 6/16 episodes and now waiting for more releases I'm loving everything so far, what's a show!!! We started off with our adorable cheeky protagonist almost cuss that favorite korean cuss word so I was embracing for a lighthearted kdrama. But wow, what's a surprise, everything is so emotional, so rich, so complex, especially the protagonist, good god, I LOVE when protagonists are protagonisting as they should. The show's main plotline is a classic subject about fighting for independence against the Japanese Imperialists, and our protagonist is one of the revolutionaries, but, so far, she's only one in that revolution group who is not a revolutionary. How funny, how amusing. Her identity, not only go against her entire group, but also go against this show main theme. Her personality, crafted from her harsh upbringing, is a whole mess, she lies all the time, she steals all the time, she's witty and chaotic, she won't stay put, she seems to only care about herself while her country is suffering. Yet, you will find her so loveable, so intriguing, so endearing, you will cry for her, you will cry a lot for her, and then, through her, you will see more depth about the revolution and want it even more.
